We are happy to announce the latest feature update release notes for our ggLeap platform in the month of August. These updates include automatic leaderboards, ggCrypto customization, Valorant stat updates and shout outs.
At ggCircuit, we want to make sure that all of our partner LAN centers can provide the best video gaming experience to all their players while making them feel at home.
The upcoming upgrades to our esports center software are intended to do just that. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect for the ggLeap platform update this August 2021.
Integrated Automatic Leaderboards for ggLeap and AtHome
One of the first things we’ll talk about is the development progress of the planned 2.0 integrated automatic leaderboards. We’re happy to inform you that development has already started for both our ggLeap and AtHome platforms.
These leaderboards are going to provide our esports venue partners with rankings, allowing you to see how well your players are performing in various video games. Many games will be supported like Apex Legends, Fortnite, League of Legends, Valorant, and more.

A great feature of the upcoming integrated leaderboards is that you get to filter player performance based on the daily, weekly, and monthly points they have accumulated.
Additionally, these leaderboards will be highly configurable. In this way, you get to choose what data is collected and shown by our systems. Our LAN center clients can choose to enable or disable for either AtHome or ggLeap based on their preferences.
The auto-coin payout system can also be edited – allowing venues to search and edit the daily, weekly, and monthly payout for their players.

Partnership With a Leading Gift Card Integration Solution
We plan to work with Stored Value once all of our partner LAN centers can run these leaderboards and have configured their own custom coin payouts.
Stored Value is a worldwide leader in guiding organizations on how to run their gift card programs and find success in them. Together with Stored Value, they will help us manage and fill your prize vaults with digital vouchers easily.
As for the money, all of the funds for the vouchers are going to flow through ggCircuit. This will allow us to have margin and better control on all purchases that are made by your players.
Feature Update for Valorant Game Stats
As for one of our supported video games, you can expect Valorant’s game stat tasks to be overhauled. We noticed that Overwolf can sometimes have issues when monitoring statistics for this game.
We decided that removing Overwolf for this game’s stat tracking will make it much easier for both you and your players down the road.
Shoutout Functionality Improvements for Our eSports Center Software
The shoutout functionality for ggLeap will also be improved for this coming August update. The upgrade will allow for multiple configuration options that will allow you to personalize how these short announcements pop up.

Default shoutouts that you can configure include when a user logs in for the first time, a user that redeems a prize, a user logged in a specific number of days in a row, a user that has reached a specific amount of coins, and the number of users currently part of your LAN center.
You can also choose to disable shoutouts altogether if you have an alternative in mind or simply don’t want to use this form of automatic announcements.

Other Feature Updates for August 2021
In our quest to make sure that all of our partners get the best experience managing their esports venues, we will also continue to develop and improve our current integration with Square. This should allow us to get rid of bugs and minor nuances that can take away from the overall experience for gamers.
Lastly, we have started an investigation into the copyright Lightspeed POS integration. We decided to go down this path after we have met with Simplicity Esports.
Simplicity Esports is a well-known gaming brand in the esports industry that has been competing and streaming some of the most popular video games today. Some of the games that they work on include Overwatch, Smite, PUBG, and various EA Sports titles.
Furthermore, Simplicity Esports Inc manages and runs esports gaming centers. This facility provides the public the chance to experience and take part in esports gaming where everyone can have fun regardless of experience or skill.
Together with ggCircuit, the Simplicity Esports company is currently considering moving all of their POS to ggLeap if we can integrate seamlessly with Lightspeed POS. If this happens, we can bring one of the most popular esports teams to the fold with limitless collaboration and business opportunities in the future.
We should have more details about this in the next update.
These are some of the main features that will be available for ggLeap this August 2021. Be sure to save that date since this is going to be one of the most exciting upgrades we’ll have.
You can expect more quality-of-life improvements for both our ggLeap and AtHome clients in the following months. Stay tuned!
