ggCircuit is very happy to announce the release of ggMobile, an App designed for esports venues and their customer base.
ggMobile is an App for IOS and Android that will enable gamers to check PC availability and to simply and conveniently make their bookings ahead of time, ensuring more full seats and more reliable PC usage. It will also make it easier for groups or parties to organize gaming sessions together.
This release mainly describes the first version of ggMobile, however, we are working towards enhanced features that will focus on player engagement, creating a gaming community, and an individual gamer’s journey.
ggMobile will be fully integrated with ggLeap and is another step forward in our mission to provide the best in esports technology and to give gamers a user-orientated and enjoyable customer experience.

What is ggMobile Esports App?
Distinctive and dynamic rebranding options will allow every ggCircuit venue to customize the app so that it is perfectly aligned with their brand. As a white-label App, it can be made unique through the venue’s choice of logo and color theme as well as individual background images or video. Gamers will identify more closely with their favorite esports venue by using the App that has been personalized by their gaming center.
SSO technology will allow users to log in to the App quickly and safely.
ggCircuit will continue to update the mobile application to expand upon its functionality and to integrate some of the features found in the ggLeap client, such as the ability to purchase time or products and interactivity via a social feed.
ggMobile Esports App User Interface
ggCircuit opted for a clean interface combining simple usability with intuitive navigation. The initial features will be the most relevant from a business’ point of view and the most practical for the customer.
The first release of ggCircuit’s mobile app will feature three tabs: Booking, Gamepass, and Profile. The primary function of the App is to facilitate bookings and to allow gamers to pay for them conveniently and safely.
Booking
The Booking tab of the App is where the user can book PCs for a gaming session. Gamers will find this very easy to use as it will show PC availability depending upon the time period that the customer enters in the App
The ability to reserve specific computers for a session is under development and will be added in a future release that will also show the esports venue’s layout. Additionally, this function will allow the esports venue to charge extra for this convenience.
Users will be able to book several gaming sessions at a time and if they need to cancel a booking this can be done by using the App.
GamePass
This tab allows users to view the available GamePass (or game time) in their account, including ones that are not eligible for use, for example, the weekend pass during the week. As a result, gamers will be able to plan their gaming session with what they have available and also purchase additional time if needed.
GamePass details can also be viewed here, informing the user of relevant information such as price, date of purchase, expiry, consumed time, and time restrictions. Additionally, historical details of previously used or expired GamePass details can also be seen here.
Profile
This tab will show the user’s personal information, remaining active time, ggCoins, and available notifications. Users can also log out from here.
What Users Will See Upon Installing the Mobile Application
Initial Download and Setup
Users will be prompted to select the center or esports venue that they are registered at. If they choose the incorrect venue it can be changed at a later date.
User Log In
Depending on how an esports venue configures its user login method, users will be given several options on how to log in to the mobile App. Creating gamer accounts will be added in future updates. The user must have an existing registered username to use the App.
Account Verification
Users will be asked to verify their account either by email or SMS. Whichever the user chooses will provide them with a code that they then need to enter into the App to complete the verification process.
Booking Process
Once the user’s account has been verified, they will have the ability to book their next gaming session via the mobile App. The user will need to specify the number of PCs for the gaming session, duration, time and date, and notes for any requests such as the addition of their favorite esports games that they would like to play.
The system will provide a One Time Password (OTP) that the user/s must enter on the client PC/s to begin their session.
ggMobile App Setup
The ggMobile App will be available to both Android and Apple mobile devices. Due to the white label nature of this mobile application, esports centers that will opt to use this feature will need to create developer accounts with Google and Apple.
ggCircuit will provide instructions on setting up ggMobile for each mobile operating system.
Once an esports center has completed all the required steps for the setup, the mobile application development for both platforms can take up to 48-72 hours. Then users will be able to download the ggMobile esports app via the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.

Supported Mobile Device Versions
App users of ggMobile using Apple mobile devices will need iOS version 13 and up. On the other hand, mobile app users of Android devices will need to have at least Lollipop (ver. 5.0) or above. Early mobile devices without the above-mentioned operating system versions will not be able to run the app.
Please also note that Android devices running Lollipop might eventually not be able to use ggMobile once newer versions are released. The development of the Android app version of ggMobile may depend on the functionality and compatibility of SDK versions of the Google mobile operating system.
Expected Features for the ggMobile app
There will be many more features added in future releases of ggMobile. The mobile app is partly designed to enhance user engagement and loyalty to the Esports venue, and gamers also can expect some of the familiar things found from the ggLeap client. It will also speed up the process between planning a gaming session and booking one by being simple and convenient to use.

Esports App Home
This is where users can view their remaining time, track the progression of level status, and view unlocked achievements from the esports venue. Users will also be able to book a gaming session here which may replace the Booking session tab of ggMobile ver. 0.2.
Feed
The Feed tab will allow the user to check for updates from other users and announcements from the esports venue. We have upped the ante by enabling the gamer to post status and interact with other gamers. This will enable customers to fluidly and simply join or plan gaming sessions with the community of their center.
Events
This tab will probably be one of the most important sections of ggMobile. Gamers will be able to find upcoming tournaments and book event participation via a calendar here. You can now hold Esports events for League of Legends or Rocket League and not worry if gamers will take notice! They will be able to see what is going on at all times and be able to join in as soon as they do.
Store
The mobile app users will be able to purchase additional time and food & beverage or merchandise from an Esports venue which customers can then pick up the next time they visit.
Venue
The Venue tab will show details about the esports venue, including available PCs, the number of active friends, and the venue’s layout. In addition, users will be able to reserve the individual PC/s that they want in case they prefer to play beside their friends.
